Correspondence: approved 2 night camp out for Boy Scout Troop 1, May 15-16.
Old Business
Pond reclamation project: Committee unanimously approved PARE addendum for work projects totally approximately $16.5 K. With regard to Task 1 we want to be sure that the sediment analysis meets recreational guidelines not residential.
ACTION ITEM: Ed Rizy to contact Bob Driscoll to have rationale for restoration of Pond 7 & 8 and cost addendum reviewed by Town Council ASAP
Park Rules: no update
Scout Project status : newest work project will be removing silt near the recently constructed boardwalk on the Blue Trail
Special Events Trail Day April 25: All designated tasks completed.
ACTION ITEM: Jodi Augustine to write Thank you notes to external participants after Ed sends the information to her.
Identification Cards: Distributed to all members
New business
Trail Issues: The committee unanimously agreed to rent a Bush Hog for 2 weekend days to widen and clear the Blue trail west of the Boardwalk and to clear the Red trail parallel to the Railroad tracks. Additionally Patrick would like to clear the area around Pond 8.The cost for this rental is ~$700.
There was also discussion about responsibilities for keeping Mott Farm Road passable. Public Works claims this job belongs to the Campground.
ACTION ITEMS: J. Emerson to speak with Bill Bryant about mowing/weed killer on Mott Farm Rd and Red trail. P. Higgins to contact P. Botelho regarding timing for Bush Hog rental. It was agreed that we would do this ASAP. The committee will assist on clearing days
