Action Item: E.Rizy and T Gray to provide information using data from PARE report
New Business
Pond 9 Dam Clearance: Potential for Public Works to do some clearing during winter months if weather conditions improve. Further Discussion about need to hire outside contractor for clearing on dam and spillway. This may need to be spaced over years if cost is beyond current budget.
Winter Walk Planning: Walk to be held Sunday, February 27 with an alternate date of March 6. Motion made by J.Richard, 2nd J Emerson to allow G Kinnunen to spend up to $100 for refreshments for the event. G Kinnunen requested that someone be assigned to collect legible names and addresses of attendees.
ACTION ITEMS: E. Rizy to contact Jim Garman and Glenn Williams about willingness to participate and cover history and nature issues regarding the park. G. Kinnunen to contact T Gray about updating poster. J.Emerson will contact Tom Meade from Projo to see if he can include a blurb in the weekend section before the 27th once all details (speakers and timing) are finalized.
Tool Purchase: E. Rizy submitted bills for reimbursement to G. Kinnunen. Agreement to purchase battery powered weed-whacker in the spring
Annual Report and dissemination of monthly meeting minutes to the Town Council: E. Rizy to put together annual report. Monthly minutes to be given to Town Clerk for inclusion in Council Meeting pre-reads
Fish Stocking of Ponds: Has been problematic since last spring
ACTION ITEM: J.Richard to contact Representative Dan Riley for assistance with Fish and Wildlife response
OLD Business
Community Service: no one currently seeking a position, these are somewhat problematic as they require the presence to two adults for any work to be done.
Trail Status: Winter is taking its toll on the trails. None are completely impassable but bittersweet vines have come down in many areas and will need to be cleared when weather permits, a walk-through should happen before the winter walk to be sure the path chosen is passable.
2010-11 Budget: E.Rizy and J Richard both to prepare budgets
Pond 8 Restoration: E Rizy continues to work with Salve and Roger Williams to potentially clear this pond in the spring
