Park Rules Sub-committee: The submission to the Council was made on January 12 by E. Rizy. The Council required that onsite camping be restricted to organized groups, specifically. The campground office was designated as distribution pint for camp applications, with completed applications forwarded to the Park Committee. Questions arose about safety and insurance. G. Kinnunen mentioned that groups without their own insurance should purchase a short-term ‘Tulip’ policy from the Town for the period of their stay. L. Picnic Table: E. Rizy noted the table by the falls is in danger due to a large dead cherry tree overhanging it. G. Williams said he would examine the situation and remove the tree as needed.
Concrete Building by the falls has been secured. A small wood stove, previously donated, was safely installed and piped though the concrete roof by Scout John Jordan, Troop 7 Middletown. G. Williams volunteered to get a fire inspection for the building, which would be the refreshment center for the coming Winter Walk.
