Williams Absence: Reports Minutes: From July meeting accepted, motion by J. Emerson, 2nd J. Wesner Finance: Balance ~15, several questions about payments that should have come out of 2010 budget, G. Kinnunen to clarify Correspondence: old committee members removed from town rolls Scout Projects: discussion about need for bridges on wet spots, first project should be on the red trail (where door has disintegrated) also potential needs on the orange trail. Green trail work not completed to date New Business Wood Chipper/tractor project: Committee agreed to meet at 8 AM on Sept 6 to view the area and come up with plans to enhance area near railroad tracks. Brush Cutting: T. Gray had previously set a date of Aug 31 for this. A motion was made by J.Richard, 2nd by J. Wesner to spend $900 on this work. Due to the unavailability of any committee member to meet with contractor the date was changed to Sept. 6. Action Item: E. Rizy to meet contractor between 7-7:30 and then meet with rest of team for rail site plan. Concrete Building Security: E. Rizy replaced locks, need for further security Old Bridge Decking: too expensive to be useful OLD Business Trail Status: Tree down on blue trail, assessment of damage to be made after the hurricane Pond 8 Restoration: Need to hire a commercial firm to test for arsenic Purchase of Portable Weed Wacker: postponed until spring Cart and trailer: waiting to hear from K.
