Williams Reports Minutes: From February meeting accepted motion by J.Emerson, 2nd J.Richard Finance: Balance ~12K Scout Projects: No scouts present, scouts needed to spread mulch at the end of red trail and on the green trail where the potential for bridges may be needed. E. Rizy reports that scouts plan to build a bridge over the stream on the red trail near the railroad tracks. New Business Winter Walk Report: need for more publicity to increase attendance Equipment Purchase: committee agreed to purchase wood chipper, used garden tractor and cart to haul mulch. Tractor must be capable of hauling wood chipper. Motion T.Gray, 2nd J.Richard ACTION ITEM: E. Rizy to contact Bulk Lawn and Garden for above purchases each to be below $1000.00 Tree Planting and Clearing at end of Mott Farm Rd: discussion of work needed to clear area for tree planting. Motion made by J. Emerson, 2nd J.Richard to obtain an estimate to clear area with bush hog. Action Item: J. Richard to contact Jamie Freitas for estimate OLD Business Pond 9 Dam Clearance: area along fence trimmed to allow access for clearing Trail Status: Most trails in good shape with the exception of wet spots. The door over the wet spot on the red trail near the spillway has disintegrated, potential need for bridge in this area, possible new scout project or combine with plan for bridge over stream. Mott farm road very wet in sections and would be difficult for vehicular traffic, discussion about adding gravel ACTION ITEM: E Rizy to contact public works about spending ~2K for gravel on the road out of the current budget Pond 8 Restoration: no information Adjourn 7:35 PM.
